Appleby Castle

The property was quiet little and we had a relaxing stay. Thanks to the welcoming staff everything was perfect, including plenty of outstanding food. The location was gorgeous, at a near distance from Public hall.

We loved almost every detail, including staff and location. And it also had spectacular view. The hotel was a fine base for enjoying a really beautiful area. The restaurant was nice and its delicious dishes are to die for.

The venue was stunningly beautiful, I really enjoyed the location close to Lake District, and garden views. The continental breakfast was included and had plenty of food. I took a house with a microwave oven, a sofa bed and a stone fireplace, it was fancy.

Location was particularly good, staff was really kind. We only slept at the king room, but we loved it. The continental breakfast had variety of choices.

Would recommend this place and will be back. The staff was very polite, the bed was lovely! The room was tasteful, individual with a lovely view over cathedral. The pool and downstairs bar were nice too.

Staff was hard-working, the vegetarian breakfast was super. The double room was unique and impressive. Absolutely perfect location to roman fort.

Magical hotel, surprising views, extremely quiet location, breakfast was delicious. The staff did all they can for a fabulous short stay.

Breakfast was warm, bed was very comfy, local area. I loved a cosy decor and dark furniture.

The staff - some of them were not very welcoming.

great nearby places include tufton arms hotel, we usually had drinks there. there is nothing better than appleby castle.

Our stay here was MEMORABLE, comfortable place for exploring Appleby. We liked the private bathroom.
